Unfinished 2The steady rhythm of drums filled Emlyra's senses with their hollow sound as it vibrated off the walls of houses that lined the main street of Themada.  Underneath her bare feet, the ground felt as if it were shifting with the force along with her body.  Since news found its way to the King that shifters were finding their way into the walls of the city, he ordered that it be cleansed from the creatures.  The streets have been swarming with soldiers ever since. Marching and beating down on large drums, day and night.  Every citizen was aware that shifters were dangerous creatures that took the shape of a human form, but changed into a fearsom
Unfinished 1They had come so far, yet the tundra that had lied underneath their broad hooves gave way to a giant gap of sea water.  In the far distance, the opposite bank could be seen when the large deer squinted their eyes.  The herd would have jumped in without hesitation if it weren't for the calves they had with them.  Confusion seemed to suffocate the herd as nervous whispers and hums traveled between them.   Members of the herd had traveled this way for centuries to come or go to their winter and summer grounds.  During that time, everything had been solid ice.
